Big Science

While knitting, Erin and I volunteered for "Big Science".

 

We sat at the table, and talked about New Pond Farms programs. Erin wandered around for a bit.

When we came home, I put some meat in the dehydrator. (That I bought for $10 at a thrift shop!)
It had been in marinade since yeterday.

We've munched some since then, but here's the leftovers:

And in other news, Daisy, our goose is laying.

And a knitting update.

One is done, and I've started the other. I'm not sure if I cast on the same way, I tend to forget things. But it seems OK. I don't know how to bind off yet, hopefully I'll learn tomorrow.  =)
